Most regulars got that one! It was a fair mistake, the other chick has the same name. (and I see her often @ EDM events)
PS Thanks for the introduction last night! ;)

Honestly, if I were to do crim law (which is what we do at the office I work out now), felony drug cases are the best...because the alleged traffickers have money, and evidence against them is usually weak. (If it is strong, it'll go to a Federal Court vs. State Court) And you will make even more $$$ on a Fed case.
Currently, we have a 15 kilo opium case. A rim full of opium mailed from Turkey to Glendale via FedEx or UPS. |

Congrats Mikey - you've helped a lot of peeps on here so it was only fitting that karma payed out!!!
Do remember though (and it's bad for us lot) any advice you now give on here is not as a "civilian" - I know you know, but be careful - it;s professional opinion now......
The only thing about crim law is - can you live with the fact you might have to help some pretty bad people? there's the flip side of helping the wrongly accused but often it's the guilty that need the most help....
international law is great field and expanding big time - tough to get in to but serious $$$$$'s if you make it.
Again, congrats!!! |

Thanks! And what you said is true, before this, I wasn't even allowed to give "legal advice" it is considered unethical.
Unfortunately, I do have to watch my words and actions and these boards and in life in general. One can easily get de-bared by a simple goof up, or not acting competently.
Never looked into International Law, as far as Immigration is concerned that area has alot of $$$ as well. I just need a good Japanese/English speaker and live in Japan or other countries who have a strong currency vs. US Dollar. Fact is, almost everyone in the world wants to be in the U.S.
I like the travel, just don't what I would be getting myself into with International Law, but I'm a fast learner.
I'm still waiting to give an oath, then I get my bar card, and then I am officially an "officer of the court." |
