what da??? that's not WEIRD food... kimchi rules and so does asparagus...but it makes my pee turn like bright yellow and someone told me that it also makes a girl's umm thingy taste weird if she eats too much asparagus...anyone know if that's true?? |

Duck = the best :D
Call up a real nice chineese place and see if they will make peking (sp?) duck for you. We had that done once, it takes like 3 days to prepare, but ohhhhh man is it good. |

i've eaten birds tongue, pig's tongue, cow stomach, a bowl of cow guts all mixed up and stewed, snake, pigs feet, ox tail, some jelly type desert made of turtle shell... i used to eat fish eyes when i was a kid.... this is all very normal food for chinese people though... i see nothing strange about it. chinese parents sucker their kids into eating tons of weird stuff.
here's some "weird" stuff i've never eaten myself, but have seen, heard or witnessed.
duck egg, except the egg has been allowed to grow, so there's actually a baby duck inside. people hardboil it and eat the whole thing.
i've seen the following items at chinese supermarkets at one time or another: pig ears, cow hooves, cow brains, cow lungs, pig hearts, chicken hearts, kidneys, cow eyes, cow testicles... some other stuff.. can't remember. |

| In Thailand I heard that they eat fried insects. It's a nice assortmnet of cochroaches, grasshopers, beatles and worms. Hmmm, very nice and crunchy :) |
