| god where can i start saturday night was crazy i was drunk off my ass on jack n cokes for the first half of the night it was good seeing everybody all the ta a few of u i havent met before who know maybe the next party i t was great meeting marcel wood mike matt keep up the great work with the party i alwayts have a blast when its a massive party can wait for the next one ill post pics soon |

why has no one mentioned that marcel dropped SVD's remix of spaceman? that was the highlight of the night for me.
like everyone said, these DJs played world class sets. more enjoyable than deadmau5 on friday.
but, to keep beating the dead horse, the heat was ridiculous. i couldnt be in there for more than 30 minutes without having to step out for a breather.
it was my first time there, and with line ups like this, and such a great crowd, its got RIDICULOUS potential. im sure everyone here at TA is willing to donate a few bucks to get that AC problem fixed haha.
but yeah, simon almost blew the speakers. but zombie nation and spaceman were by far the highlights of the night for me. |

my review is that this was a great party. few things could have made it better. my two friends visiting don't eve like edm and even they got into the spirit of things. minus a few moments of randomness i had a fantastic time.

it's 8:15 on monday and i'm finally back to life hahah...
was ing nuts. Marcel started off a little minimal for my liking but ing demolished in the second half of his set.
ing Zombie Nation!??!? WHAAAT! :) Lemon Tree, Advanced... he rocked my world... I remember one point in the night, I was ripped outta my skull and I forget what track it was Marcel was playing but he was jumping up and down with his hands up and the whole main room was going nuts... so cool! I was a little disappointed he just dipped out after his set, or maybe I just wasnt around, but I really wanted to get his sig and a pic.
Simon's the man, period. His set was wicked, as always! I went ape when he dropped Light at the End, which is dead serious one of my favorite tracks.
So much fun... I wanna relive Saturday night!

damn it was hot in love!
I had a great time. NO complaints whatsoever besides the heat of course. The people who work at LOVE are just amazing hosts. They are kind and courteous. I hope it stays that way because its that kind of service that keeps bringing people back. Thanks to MASSIVE for putting on such a great show with ECO, WOODS, and PATTERSON throwing down some delicious tunesss. I think i might opt for the shirt and shorts approach next time :cool:

So now for the full review, where do I start. Love was just the place to be on Saturday Night. Massive Event definitely knows how to throw an event and get a good crowd. The guestlist lady was probably one of the nicest I have ever met in NYC, even more so if you were already on the guestlist. Even the door person (once inside) was courteous. All Massive Event people were awesome. I really wanted to catch Eco's set, but I had a tough time finding parking (should have used mass transit, so sorry about that Eco. I ended up coming in during Marcel's set just in time for Advanced and Zombie Nation:eyespop:<--everyone went wild. Ill admit that I stepped out a few times during Marcel's set because of the sauna like conditions inside the main room. So many TA's too. Simon playing Thump, Us, ALWAYS:eyespop::eyespop: and DJ ECO's LIGHT AT THE END:eyespop::eyespop:? Great set and night overall. (Simon + Marcel + Eco) - (Hot Love Mainroom) = Epic Night. Great job overall Massive. |
