Yamin is a great producer, but the only thing I hate about his productions was her voice on them. She chose very well working with him imo, but she certainly didn't forward the career of Yamin. I think the Yamin dubs helped to forward her career.
On that TyDi dub that Coldharbour signed of a tune she "sang" on. That dub could be anyone's voice. Being signed to CH can help a career. |

Ted, I am with you. Just horrible. I thought that guy was joking about her voice when he posted those. |

Reflekt - Need To Feel Loved - one of my favorites. Do you think Marcie's tracks are even remotely close to that cool?
I see that you have some quality taste. Are you in any way related to Marcie or are you her PR manager?

well i wouldn't buy the motiva remix, but the vocals are still great in it. i would however buy the beetseekers remix if it was up to sale and i wouldn't have gotten it as a promo (it's an unreleased bootleg).
liberation is also unreleased, and about 5 years old. i used to like it a lot, nowadays it sounds a bit dated, but the vocals are still quality for me. a 130bpm slower (prog) trance version of it would rock
i love "find", here's couple of other vocal tracks i love:
older:
ascension - someone
andain - beautiful things
bt - mercury and solace
brother brown - under the water
chakra - i am
delerium - innocente
human movement - love has come again
lange - i believe
lange - follow me
lustral - everytime
lustral - solace
paul oakenfold - southern sun
rachael starr - 'till there was you
reflekt - need to feel loved
second skin - runaway
sun decade - follow you
solar stone - speak in sympathy
way out west - the fall
warrior - warrior
way out west - intensify
newer:
antix - hiding place
andy moor - fake awake
andy moor - halcyon
andy moor - so much more
boom jinx - eternal reminiscence
cerf, mitiska & jaren - light the skies
cerf, mitiska & jaren - me and you
chris lake - carry me away
interstate - i found you
jonas steur - fall to pieces
karen overton - your loving arms
falkon & nebula - so lost
luminary - amsterdam (i'm not that big of a fan of this kinda last breath artsy singing though, but this one is great)
team sr - leaving london
thrillseekers - by your side
tiesto - everything (yes you heard me tiesto and the bt ripoff song)
male vocals:
gareth emery - more than anything (dj observer & dan heatcliff vocal mix)
nic chagall - what you need
markus schulz and departure with g&d - without you near
+ rock bootlegs, expecially brothers in rhythm remixed
and probably a lot others that i forgot now. most of them are kinda popish though, but if there's vocals in tracks i want them to be catchy and not just nonesense. |

well no, but those are one of the best vocals in a clubtrack anyway..

nope..
and i only said i really like those two vocals. there's probably something in her voice color or way of singing that annoys you, and makes you unable to enjoy her work. in those two nothing bothers me in her singing, and i think the vocal lines are fantastic and catchy.
there are couple of singers whose voices i just don't like for some weird reason, so i can't really enjoy any of the tracks they're singing in. (mostly male vocalists)
it's all about different tastes, i'm pretty sure you don't like all of the vocal tracks i listed above. |

i only know a couple of tracks by steve birch where she has spoken samples, i think they are nice. i've never heard any other songs from till now.
Nick Murray Featuring Marcie - Magnetized (Timothy Allan Remix)
The Touch (feat. Marcie) - Radio Station (Beetseekers Remix)
i think these sound good, i can't understand the hate based on those two tracks. |

For me, it is a combination of the supporting melodies, the percussions, the quality of the voice, the large amount of synthesized tuning done on the voice, and the lyrics. I feel like anyone off the street could do those tunes, or even better. |

Are you Marcie? Did you make this thread as some kind of perverse marketing scheme?
