I could use any tips you could shoot me. I know you work as a trainer in the navy right? I'm trying to go active Army right now but getting hung up on a few technicalities.

how's your cardio? it better be good b/c they'll make you stronger one way or another once your in but your cardio is what will limit you from the outset. thats usually what makes or breaks guys in basic

talk to your recruiter and find out what the PRT (thats what it's called in the Navy) min standard run time for your age class is and try to beat it on your own sometime. looks like you already have your BMI well under control.

i run about 5 miles at least 4 times a week

i can kill the out of basic but i want to go airborne and hopefully if the lord smiles down on me SFAS

so i need to do 5 miles on hills in under 40 min

i'm do 4.5 in about 48 right now on sick hills in texas heat

well dude youre in like Flynn.;) i run 1.5 miles 5 times a week:whip: :wtf: :haha:

you just need to find out if you have the will to have the beaten out of you on a daily basis without going off on somebody...and overcome any acrophobia you may have

i enjoy pain although you're right i might just flip out... and i love heights and parachuting
