RAH RAH RAH!

From all the tracks/sets mentioned so far, would have to say the Live Set from Palladium. The whole set pretty much gives the Chicane feel for one seamless mix!

Here's the tracklist for that
=======================================
1 Nagasaki Badger - Intro
2 Chicane - Halcyon
3 Chicane - Saltwater
4 Chicane - Don't Give Up
5 Chicane - Offshore
6 Chicane - Mojave
7 Chicane - Saltwater
=======================================

mmmmm mmmmm!

Another live set to look for is Ministry of Sound Session with Chicane
here's the tracklist

===============================================
01 Mr. Joshua presents Espirutu - In Praise of the Sun
02 Lamb-Gorecki
03 Lustral - Everytime (Way Out West Sunrise Mix)
04 Future Sounds of London - My Kingdom
05 Everything But the Girl - Before Today (Chicane Remix)
06 Eric Serra - The Game Is Over
07 Kama Sutra - Sugar steps
08 Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
09 Chicane - Saltwater (Thrillseekers Remix)
10 Roger Sanchez - Another Chance (Afterlife Remix)
11 Heights of Abraham - E.V.A
12 Hans Zimmer (Hannibal) - Vide Cor Meum
===============================================

can't seem to get sick of these two, there's also a third live set that has been floating around, but it's similar to the one above.

If ya can't find these and want to have a listen, let me know.
:tongue2:tongue2 CHICANE 4 LIFE! :tongue2:tongue2

Hey Syn
the second set is actually a radio set that's been floating around...that's also been called
Chicane Galaxyy Chillout Session

i don't like this as much b/c it's just a hodgepodge of slow songs slapped together

Live@Palladium however is a different beast.. the crowd interaction and the seamless mixing makes this a ing kickass set!

Pork!

lol dude..that's why I labeled them two diff. things ;)
yea, the second one is str8 from the radio, but thought the first one (Palladium) was recorded from the radio as well :conf::conf:hmm:conf::conf:. The Galaxy Chill Out was done this year but boasts a similar tracklist, with few additions (compared to MOS Session done mid last year). The tracklist for that is as follows

====================================================
01 Mr. Joshua Presents Espiritu - In Praise of the Sun (Chilled Brasilia Mix)
02 Lamb - Gorecki
03 Lustral - Everytime (Way Out West Sunrise Mix)
04 Future Sounds of London - My Kingdom
05 Everything But The Girl - Before Today (Chicane Remix)
06 Eric Serra - The Game Is Over
07
*commercial cut*
08 Green Court - Shining (Remix)
09 Aphex Twin – Windowlicker (Unknown Remix)
10 Chicane - Saltwater (Thrillseekers Remix)
11 Roger Sanchez – Another Chance (Afterlife Remix)
12 Moonman - Galaxia (Solar Stone Remix)
13
====================================================

Tracks are similarly arranged, but are diff. towards the end.

Chicane is absolutely beautiful. If I could only listen to music by one producer for the rest of my life, Nick Bracegirdle would be my choice, hands down. I've got Behind the Sun (shame I can't find Far From the Maddening Crowds anymore) and it's probably my favourite CD. In terms of orginal productions, I consider the following underrated:

Red Skies
Andromeda
No Ordinary Morning
Overlap
Sunstroke (Disco Citizens Remix)
Disco Citizens - Nagasaki Badger

The last one is really great -- the Chicane remix has the same intro as the Palladium set. Gorgeous. :D

As for remixes I'd recommend Billie Ray Martin - Honey (Chicane Club Mix) (from one of the ISOS CDs, I can't remember which).

Off topic, this is essentially my first post here... a friend of mine got me to sign up ages ago but I never gave it more than a passing glance. Used to post at RMF but that board kinda died when they cut out the mp3 sharing (which is a real shame because it shows a lot of the users only cared about leeching music, but that's another story). Anyways, I needed a more active board to frequent, and this seems to fit the bill. I recognize Paul Wilson aka Ocean Wave from RMF too -- nice to see you around, Paul. ;)

Ya know why they weren't mixed? Cuz they were performed live!! If you listen to those songs and then the originals they are different...Chicane actually adds a little more to some songs. Basically, Chicane had all the synths out and stuff and performed them...kinda like what BT or Rank 1 do.

Overlap is one of my favorites chill songs. It's great after a hard night of clubbing and your ears are ringing. I like these type of songs as I'm relaxing my tired body. :)
