While the premise of the show is really bad, I'm hooked on the absurdity and trashiness of it.

um so MTV calls it a crime, but dont we show crimes on TV every f*cking day? Thats like saying we cant watch the heroin addicts shoot up on "Intervention" because its a crime and may promote more drug usage (which may in fact be true, but in any case, if they use this philosophy for one show, why are we not using it for every show?)

weird.

Every time you hit "fist pump" it comes up with a new name. lol My first name was Lisa "the appointment" Bristow. But I didn't like that, so now I'm Lisa "L-Scream" Bristow. Haha

this coming from the same network that once showed madonna and brittney spears makeing out....then a girl sniffing k off of a floor, but they wont show this :conf:

only real reasons i can think they wont show it is because they didnt want to lose more sponsors (i like like 3 of them dropped out cause they didnt like the show) or maybe snookie is takeing the guy who hit her to court and its some kind of evidence, who knows tho

this girl takes blows to the face all day long from guys, he should have hit her harder, cause shes still the way she is

Multiply this quote by millions and you've got exactly what MTV is banking on, and winning.

I've personally got no doubt this show is scripted. As for the punch scene, it had exactly the effect they knew it would and it worked. It was the last scene in the trailer, which is where they always put their strongest hook. Pulling it out of the actual episode only increased interest, because as the article already said, it had gone viral. Look at how many times the gif has shown up in this thread :eyes:

I saw 2 eps yesterday, and I have to admit I love it.
