It's funny how many people are too lazy to do any research.

An audio interview that was cut off in the middle is a whole lot different when it was transcribed. Like I said, if you would bother to do any research...

I bet you still think there is a beef with Marcus, that the whole "the opening DJ can't play what I say", Deadmau5 is a diva, and all the other BS stories out there are true.

I can understand his response. But then again, there's way to respond to situations. That said, his post might still have been passable, but then he had to say, "this statement isn't for you ing elitist heads who have nothing better to do with your internets. This is for the the people who appriciate what im doing, people who enjoy music, and is meant to assure those people that my intent was not to insult or belittle anyone or any group of people in particular."

As I said, I'm not going to sit here and bash on him because it's the "cool" thing to do, but sometimes it's best to zip your lips at a certain point. He kind of asks for it with statements like that. And if you are going to say something, at some point you have to learn to act a bit more professional in your responses. DJs and producers should never change who they are, IMO, but at least consider what the reaction to be just because of how something is said. From reading that, it sounds to me that he's trying to sound like a badass and impress his followers who are going to back him. Maybe he's actually a real cool kat in the end. A lot of people are different in person than on the internet. It's just nature with some people. But to those who are indifferent to the situation or aren't necessarily on his side to begin with, the attitude represented in that post comes off as being childish and a total turn off. (something we are all guilty of at times when it comes to posts, but still...). And to 99.9% who care about his music, how he comes off in posts like this are going to be the only impression those people have.

I for one am not gonna hide the fact that I have liked tons of his productions. And when I say I liked him better before he started playing "LIVE," I am talking about how he played in 2007. I think he uses a lot more gear now -- I could be wrong -- but I just liked what he played and how he played it back then. A lot of DJs who heavily embrace technology, which I respect, are starting to go overboard with it all, and it kills both the sets and the experience, IMO. Just a personal thing in the end.

what did he do to Chris, DaveT?
the "diva" dj's seem to be the ones that can raise the stakes and get paid top dollar, seems like sanchez and morillo are in vegas for all the holidays. maybe thats why they are diva's?
