hackintosh -- anyone?

so yesterday i built myself a new pc because i wanted to run osx. today i finally got osx running nicely and im on it right now. any of you guys/gals using a hackintosh?
i hope im not the only one considering there are so many nerds on TA. :D |

there are a couple netbooks out there that are 100% hackintosh compatible...a dell and an acer(?)
PS. what you gonna do with ur second mouse button? lol |

uhh.. right-click works.
as for netbooks, its the dell mini 9 and the acer aspire one a-150.
im thinking about getting the acer. |

Second mouse button is used as the secondary click (right click).
Does the same if you hold CTRL + click or if you have 2 fingers touching the trackpad and click.

That's what happens when they just stick to one thing and that's all they use. Kinda like ordering Medium double double at Timmy's |

my only issue was that my damn video card wasn't 100% compatible.
Be sure that your specific video card has a osx driver, because else you won't get hardware accelration , and that sucks. |

i did all my reading on www.insanelymac.com
they have a good wiki with a decent list of compatible components.
but make sure you do a LOT of reading on the forum as well because there is usually more to do than just an install of osx. |
