hackintosh -- anyone?

so yesterday i built myself a new pc because i wanted to run osx. today i finally got osx running nicely and im on it right now. any of you guys/gals using a hackintosh?

i hope im not the only one considering there are so many nerds on TA. :D

there are a couple netbooks out there that are 100% hackintosh compatible...a dell and an acer(?)


PS. what you gonna do with ur second mouse button? lol

uhh.. right-click works.

as for netbooks, its the dell mini 9 and the acer aspire one a-150.
im thinking about getting the acer.

Second mouse button is used as the secondary click (right click).

Does the same if you hold CTRL + click or if you have 2 fingers touching the trackpad and click.

That's what happens when they just stick to one thing and that's all they use. Kinda like ordering Medium double double at Timmy's

first purchase the original OSX disc...*cough*cough*

my only issue was that my damn video card wasn't 100% compatible.

Be sure that your specific video card has a osx driver, because else you won't get hardware accelration , and that sucks.

i did all my reading on www.insanelymac.com
they have a good wiki with a decent list of compatible components.
but make sure you do a LOT of reading on the forum as well because there is usually more to do than just an install of osx.
