Oakenfold played this track and I am trying to figure out what this is called again. Any of you have an idea? The place went crazy when this was dropped. The video isnt of memorial weekend but he dropped it then as well. |

scary thing is i am old enough to remember it being played in the clubs when it came out the 1st time 20 years ago! i actually have the Guru Josh CD it was on and i played it in the car a couple of weeks ago!!!! |

bahhaa that had to have been d the m...he got us a cabana at wetrepublic for sharam/cedric on sunday. his "trademark" is throwing bills out at clubs. sometimes he has girls do it. i opted to dance the night away at rain, instead of sit at his table at tao for morillo, though. |

| I went to the wavehouse to see Eddie Halliwell, he was sick played alot of bangin tracks. The venue is great, especially when the sun starts to set its like your in an ibiza type setting. |

oddly enough, i have seen this whole money throwing or money rain (lame imo) two times while in vegas...once during the day at tao beach and then once at tao...but whats odd was both times it was the same dude - i dont know how to discribe him...but as a buff persian dude, not sure if he is 55 yrs old with a face pulled back so tight it looks 35 - or maybe he is just 35 but looks like he has plastic surgery - looks kinda guido-ish (ie ed hardy/audigier clothing).
now, hmmmmmmmmmmm....me thinks this is the same guy this time around? |

dan the man was at tao for morillo, and at wet republic for sharam...sounds like the guy you are describing though (bigger/older/white) rather than persian. |

Anyone see the guys next to Tiesto @ Jet a couple years ago? I'd say Labor Day 2007. They were buying Cristal bottles 5 or 10 at a time just to shake and spray everyone. Stacks of bills one after another. (I grabbed 50 just around my feet in my vicinity, I didn't even try to go farther than a foot radius)
Some people just have too much money they know what to do with. Some people live off of looking cool, acting cool and need that attention. Many of my best friends were making about 20k a month just to blow it all on bottles @ clubs. My best friend refused to go to a club without getting bottles.
Now...they are all broke. The cars got repossessed, the houses got foreclosed, and Vegas is still asking for their markers probably. They got used to a lifestyle they could not afford. |
