grandma techno is the . shes a photographer actually (www.patricialaydorsey.com) chatted with her for quite a while on the first day cuz i was told the stories bout her and first person i was actually looking for was her. haha |

As you may know... I hate reviews.
Highlights:
-Adam Bayer
-Marco Carola
-Loco vs Luciano
-Boat (besides that it was to hot)
-Seeing people I mainly see once a year.
-DEMF as a whole... my fav festival.
Dislikes:
-Lineup wasn't the best
-Monday's lineup was pretty boring
-One less stage then last year???
-Missing the Old Miami party
-Missing Resolute party

It was the most random/awesome/fun/sexy/lovely place I have ever been.
It was like a backyard with sikkkkk beats, drinks galore, sun, no bouncers. Do what you want.
If we had this in Toronto, I would go every weekend.
It made me want a marshmallow bow and arrow. |

Wendy was there... she had a lovely unicorn around her waste and an Indian Head Dress.
We also learned that there are actually 2 bad idea books in rotation.
I am with Katy.. Old Miami was definitely one of the best parties I have been to. |

Do you think that the Guv people would let me bring one to the Canada Day party... I found out where to order one.
I guess the bigger question would be if I could get it past the border... considering what happened to my friends who ended up on the bridge to Canada instead of the exit when they got to Detroit..... Since when did they search every car coming in? |

| I'm not too upset I missed it this year since it would have been my 3rd attendance. Honestly it's not THAT amazing; just a great place to chill and watch the randomness unfold. Although in my experience, I don't think I've seen as much silliness as you guys did this year. From the looks of things in videos, it looked more packed than previous years... Fine, I'm a bit jealous! :p |

I truly didn't think I would make it to Old Miami, but am glad I did and don't even care that I missed most of the festival Monday because of it. Disappointed I missed Wolf + Lamb though, as they were my main reason for going. However; I did get to meet Gadi and tell him awesome I think they are. Also, Pezzner was ing sick - highlight of my day for sure. :) :)
And my god, I cannot believe how RUINED I was at one point, lol. Mashing out in the sun/on the grass ftw. Sick times. :cool: |
