I hear you. Did you use your own ingredients, like your own red sauce for the lasagna or did you use some stuff from a jar? That makes all the difference imo. Pizza is much easier to improve, most chain places all have the same crust, you can't replace some seriously good, fresh pizza dough. You might have to be a little more creative, you can use a variety of different doughs to make it extra flaky, crispy, or soft, depending on what you like. |
yeah i did use jar stuff tbh... just cos i wanted to make it as easy as possible for the first attempt.. but i might give it another shot from scratch.
also.. i dont know if you can get it over there.. but theres one place in england that sells pork lasagne [as opposed to beef lasagne] .. and wow.. is alls im saying.

There's an awesome little pizza shop just a short walk from mine. I like their seafood pizza.
Tomato Paste, Cheese, Octopus, Scallops, Mussels, Sundried tomato's, olives, anchovies and Oregano, I think.:tongue2 |

BOOYAH! |
You bumped this thread because of the pizza you ordered earlier! Legend :stongue:
But on that note, tonight I had a double pepperoni! That's my healthy eating out of the window! :( |

Sounds ing awesome, but forgive me if I'm wrong: isn't Octopus rather rubbery and chewy without much flavor? Like rubbery cartilage? :wtf: |

Yes it is, but I love it for some reason. They put real octopus tenticles on and they seem to cook well and turn out crispy, a bit different to squid/calamari. |
