i hate when women expect a dude to basically take care of them in every way like they're ing handicapped. you have a job, you want to go out and eat? well help me pay the ing bill, it's only fair, i'm not here to reward you every step of the way. love is supposed to be a mutual 50/50 kind of thing. unless it's a special occasion, or something happened where i have to redeem myself in a sense, then ya.
but , i hate expectations in relationships, it ruins the point of a relationship, i don't need a 2nd job, and a lot of women are like a 2nd job. and sex + blowjobs are not rewards worthy enough for me to go out and dish 1/2 of my paycheck to their cause because they feel like they deserve it |

yea i agree about the 50/50 . i seriously have a hard time going to my boyfriend like, "can i have some money to go shopping?" and SO MANY chicks are like that. i have so much pride when it comes to money, if anything, i'm always like, "i got it" when we go to dinner and he has to bitch at me to put my money away.
guys generally respect their woman a lot more if she can hold her own.
we got each other's backs. there was a point where he didn't have much work lined up and i had the steady job and i started payign for everything and told him not to worry. now i'm the one with no job and he's got my back telling me not to worry. it's nice:) i'm still paying my own bills though...yay for unemployment $! lol |

| I always try to pay for dinner every couple of times we go - but it's rare that he will LET me lol. When we went on our first vacation, he gave me ALL of the money for our bed & breakfast and I was like "what's this?" he goes "the money for the place" I was like "I already put aside money to pay for half-you don't have to pay for me". I had a lot of pride lol. He's old fashioned and believes that the man should take care of the woman. I rarely let him though. He gave me money to buy him clothes and insisted I buy something for myself, too. When I came back with nothing for me but new clothes for him, he was like WTF I told you to buy something for yourself! :stongue: |

that's pretty much how we are. it's because i was raised by a single mom and all she did was pound it into my head "make your own money, don't depend on any guy to pay your bills, bla bla bla" lol |

LOL I was talking to a good friend on the phone when I was on the train a few months back. I was talking on US women treating men like ATM machines. It is ing whack. Sucks so much. |

I apologize, I came off as more arrogant than usual and din't really mean to imply that you, specifically, were inexperienced with that sort of thing.
But I have seen money situations change people entirely too drastically and entirely too often to really have any faith otherwise. I am of course not saying it's impossible in your scenario - really, how the would I know? :p - I am just skeptical from experience. |

i grew up with both of those situations.
lived in a fancy townhouse in suburbia...bills always paid, fridge always full, stepdad took me shopping whenever and spoiled us with stuff all the time (even though he was an , he compensated by buying me ). then my mom left him and we had to live in the ghetto for 2 years. that sucked. first day we moved in there were helicopters and swat team members with K9s swarming the place lol turns out some escaped convict from jail was hiding out at his mom's who lived in our new ghetto neighborhood.
then in high school i went to japan to live with my dad and it was on a military base and i was like the spoiled bitch with a bmw (dad bought it). so i was like back and forth from rich to poor growing up lol |
