Me too. We were ballin' when I was a kid - went bankrupt when I was 7.
Ballin again by 10, bankrupt by my 16th birthday.
PS women wouldn't treat men like atm machines if there weren't men that let them. FYI. :o |

very true and the reason why men do this is because it's a reflection of themselves and their bank account. the more iced out their girlfriends are with diamonds and jewelry, the more people realize, "wow her man is loaded". |

So much truth. I'm really not inclined to blame goldiggers for their behaviour at all - I mean, if I had the means to live an entirely privelaged life on somebody else's dime, you ing bet I would.
I don't think there is any reason to respect it one bit (whatever the hell respect even means), but I certainly do not think it's a foolish decision in the least. |

Good thing I'm not a gold digger :)
Although sometimes I'm like "! How do those women DO that?!" :stongue: |

i used to work with this chick who was a single mom and hit the jackpot with a multi-millionaire. they'd take his private jet to lake tahoe n and had an apt. in NYC...you name it. she would come to work every day with probably about 50-100k worth of jewelry on easily.
and she still worked as a paralegal and liked to have her own gig. i thought it was cool. there were rumors that she would just put her paychecks away in a savings account. smart woman. she wants to be prepared for all of that going away in the blink of an eye if she finds out he's a cheating bastard or something:stongue: |

| My bf buys me and pays for my stuff all the time and I can't complain about it. There are times that he's helped me out where I would have been ed without him. |

| Yeah, that's how things are with us. I don't really mind. I pay for my own bills cause I'd feel like a bitch accruing bills on my own and then saying 'heeeeeeeey even though I work - can you pay my car payment and my credit card bill? THAAAAAAAAAANKS!" |

| Yeah, that 's my own problem as far as I'm concerned. The way I see it is if I couldn't afford my basic necessities, then it's time to find a roommate/change my lifestyle/whatever. |

| the only time i come off like a little gold digger is when we go out. but that's only because he is in charge of the money and IDs because i cannot be trusted after i drink so much or pop a pill. lol so the whole night every time i want a drink i'm like, "i need money" but a lot of times, he's just handing me my own money but no one knows that except us. |

That's all a guy really wants... just seeing a girl (genuinely) attempt to reach for the check or offer to pay is enough for me. For a guy, believe me, respect is just as important as love. |
