Only in Canada |
Only morons spend 500 dollars on jeans; therefore, they have no right to bitch about plastic bags. |

If the government said you now had to bring your own plates to restaurants or else you had to pay for the plates you used and then the restaurant decided they wouldn't plate the food and you had to do it yourself, would you get pissed? |
that analogy is wrong.
the purpose of charging money for plastic bags is to try to cut down on the waste so people will bring reusable bags. plates at a restaurant are washable and reusable. maybe if you dined at restaurants that use disposable plastic plates and cutlery then you could use this analogy. |

asian to asian here is a funny story (not really).
when you order delivery in south korea they deliver everything on real plates and come pick them up after you are finished. |

they used to do that in hong kong many many years ago. after you are done eating you would leave the plates in the hallway and they pick them up. |

You're bitching about this so much because of inconvenience? God North Americans really are spoiled brats aren't they? So what if you have to bag your own and estimate how many bags you need? I'm pretty sure by the 3rd or 4th time of you doing it you'll be pretty damn good at bagging them and estimating how much you need.
Stop being such a cry baby about it. It's not the end of the world. It's only 5 cent grocery bags.
Ps. We have this concept back in the "hole" called reality. You should check it out :) |

| Convenience and efficiency isnt something that is quite understood in europe. Which is why we have been the world leaders in economy for 100 years. Let me tell you this though... you havent seen convenience until youve been to china. Makes you wonder..... |

The analogy was more for the service being provided and not the environmental issue....so it does work:D |

at the end of the day does it really matter?
it could be worse, you could be a Somali child that wished he could eat your bag.
sense of entitlement is so american, stop selling out. |
