The best spot is on Dixie. There's a tiny spot enough for about 2-4 cars next at the foot of the longest strip at the airport. This is the only strip that can support such a big airplaine, and the only one it lands and takes off from. You're at its closest there, beneath and behind the roaring engines.

But I have a caveat.... Keep away during rush hours, and don't cluster the traffic when I'm on my way home.

nope. you're right.

You can access that road from britannia if I remember correctly.

You're not suppose to be there. But it's also another great spot.

I'll mark the best spots on google maps later if anyone wants me to.

I didn't realize there were so many enthusiasts here...

I'm an airplane freak...always have been...

I've spent many many hours at the wendy's park..:

That airport is in my top 3 spots in this city...

I've also been lucky enough to have held 4 different ramp jobs there. Best jobs I ever had...

the plane landed on runway 6L. so i guess to see it fly right above you would be from Convair Dr.

there will be 3 flights a week coming to YYZ, so you'll get plenty of chances to see it.

Lufthansa economy is just a regular economy class, same goes to Austrian Airlines and British Airways :) lol looks like you don't fly much
but I agree their service is stellar
HOWEVER, Lufthansa business class - now we're talking :)

Yup. Got that right. Looking at the map I think you nailed the location of one of the best spots. The bend in the upper corner of the image, there's a hill there. They go right above you in that spot.

I think you'll get at least 50 lashes and then publically hung if you're a man and try to be a stewardess on Emirates airline.
