the other week me and this guy started a fight... i was really drunk and i canīt really remember what happened but all i remember is that i woke up with a big wound on my head and that i fell asleep that night with the worst headache iīve ever had..
went and got a x-ray of my head the other day and it turned out i had a minor bleeding, unluckily i never went to hostpital that night but went straight to sleep (guess i was a bit paranoid for being caught stoned aswell since that pretty much illegal here in sweden..)
anyways have you ever had a friend or know of anyone that experienced head trauma and got better?
my gf dumped me because i turned into a vegtable aswell and everywhere i go people comment on how ing retarded i sound ;\
guess itīs permanent..

well thatīs a bit over the top i guess but it takes me about a 3-4 second delay everytime someone says something to me, for me to really realize what the person said.. letīs say that the world for me is like having 300-400 ping in a computer game .. anyways it im trying to think of it in a zen buddhism way and see that there has to be a reason for it.. |

Mate think of it as a bitch filter. If your girlfriend dumped you because of something as minor as that she's a bitch.
... no offence. |

But in terms of your original query, yes I have heard of people recovering from brain trauma. From what I understand the brain is quite adaptable.. if one pathway in the brains "circuitry" is damaged it is good at finding others over time and perfecting new mechanisms to cope with the damage.
If I was you I'd just do my body a favour and try to stay as healthy as possible. Stay away from toxins (no matter how fun they might be) and eat plenty of oily fish. :) |

bleeding as in stroke, or as in just trauma?
also never seen someone have dysphagia and then miraculously recover. Although i've only had experience with brain tumors ect. |

I wonder if you got more detail about your condition than what you posted.
Surely the doctors would have to tell you what you can expect over the coming weeks/months, no?
Did they confirm that you have permanent brain damage?
Anyway, what you might have to do at some point down the road, after the wound is healed, is something like physiotherapy for the head. Speech pathology and such- training your brain to function like it used to. I wonder if there is some permanent damage though. The head can do ed up things when wounded.
I once interviewed a man who had undergone severe head trauma in a car accident and he lost the function of his brain that allows humans to recognize things that are composed of things.
i.e. If you pointed to a house and asked him what it was, he would say "it's bricks, wood, rooms, floors, a roof, windows" but he couldn't say what the whole thing was - his brain only recognized the component parts of a whole, but could not name the whole :wtf: I forget what this condition is called.
Is your speech slurred at all? |

Hopefully you'll be alright... I had minor brain damage from an accidental overdose back in early 2006 (not by my own doing... its a bit of a long story; I basically took a drink of something at my apartment when I was living with some people that I didn't know contained a ton of GHB). It took about a year before I felt quite 'right', but I also exercised my brain like crazy, too. I was determined to get back to my former state.
Like Ania said, you will probably need to look into speech therapy and physiotherapy.
Hope you get better. |

Delay, huh? There surely is some connection to the missing Air France flight here, but I can't really piece it together.
Life is a David Lynch movie.
Edit: Say keddo, did you maybe think of flying about 3-4 seconds before that plane disappeared? |
