Hating people is not a symptom of something that needs therapy. That's just common sense. It takes a really strong (or naive) person to realize how much humanity has done over the years of its existence and NOT hate people. |

I hate people. A lot of people hate other people, that's why it's so ing hard for our species to get along with each other most of the time. You don't need to sit there and whine about how you hate people to some ing therapist who is going to give you some prozac or something to help get over it. I hardly ever party these days, mostly because I hate putting up with a bunch of s that I don't know. |

It's so bad for me since i live in the barracks. I know a ton of people and they think we are friends and just start talking about that i have no interest in hearing.
I'll go out in the smoke pit to enjoy a cig and sit off to the side indicating i don't want to talk to anyone. Low and behold some douche bag wants to talk about something i have no interest in hearing. It's ing annoying. If i'm in a good mood i'll drift off and nod my head making them think im listening to them. When im in a bad mood i tell them straight up i dont care. I did that yesterday when i was at the store and this ****** starts talking about his girl and i said I. Don't. Care. and he giggles like i was joking and kept on talking so i acted super interested and turned on my sarcastic switch on till he walked away. That's right fag boy go take your cowboy hat somewhere else. him. HA! |

I am better than everyone. i don't need them. We don't need them. We needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbits.
No, not master.
Yes. Precious! First, they will cheat you, hurt you, lie.
Master's my friend.
You don't have any friends! Nobody likes you!
Not listening. Not listening.
You're a liar and a thief.
No!
Murderer!
Go away, go away! I hate you. I hate you.
Where would you be without me! I saved us. It was me. We survived because of me.
Not anymore.
What did you say?
Master looks after us now. We don't need you.
What?
Leave now and never come back.
NOOO.
Leave now and never come back! Leave now and never come back!
I am an introverted person. The best way to deal with this is not believe that everyone out there is an annoying chatty . No, don't believe that. Know that. |

You're somewhat right if you go with the 'strong' option. I wasn't saying that hating anyone is a sign of needing therapy, but a desire to remove yourself from people altogether is a flag. You also don't have to factor in all of humanity's history to form your view on life. Hating the people you see everyday for things people in the past (that you will never meet) have done won't make you happy.

It feels strange to me too, but honestly this is how a lot of people think. It's not a bad thing, it's just different. Lots of people think of anyone they have a casual conversation with as a friend. Personally, I think of a friend as someone I have a good amount in common with (at least in the way we think). I wish I could handle small talk as well as most people do, I really do, but I can't. I just accept that we think differently. |

gotta say i agree with wittyhandle. its one thing to hate someone because of something they did, but to hate people in general because you think humanity is ed is not the way to go. there are still good ppl. out there, and you'll never meet them if you hate anyone and everyone all the time and withdraw into your own world. |

haha!! oh man can I realate to this. I consciously take the long alternative route when going somewhere if I see someone I recognize so I can avoid small talk. Unless it's a real friend that I talk to on a regular basis, I avoid them at all costs. It started in college when I'd come back from Christmas vacation... the first 2 weeks afterwards, any time I'd see someone I recognized on campus it would be the same ing thing.
Random Person: "Hey... how was your vacation?"
Me: "Fine, yours?"
"Fine. Good... get anything cool?"
"Meh.. the usual. You?"
"Yeah you know."
"Cool."
"Sucks to be back in school man."
"Yeah for sure."
"Ok I gotta get to class, see you around."
"Ok see ya."
So, I just started hiding out for the first 2 weeks after classes resumed to avoid all of that and it has carried over into my regular routine. I was in the post office yesterday and saw some guy I hadn't seen in like 6 years that I used to be decent friends with. I was standing 2 feet from him and he didn't see me... I made sure I got my mail and scurried out of there before he could see me. Nothing against him but I knew exactly how the "what have you been up to, how have you been" discussion would have gone and I wanted nothing to do with it. :tongue3 |

why don't you try this then, maybe for a year or so? , if it feels right, do it. |
