it's alright, pretty good if you have some crackled up tracks or something!
not sure it's worth it if you are using all new tunes etc anyway, but yes, essentially it's a device for making all tunes the same volume etc... |

I use MP3Gain for normalizing my tracks (I then use Live to make finer volume adjustments). And besides PSP VW on the master for live sets, I don't apply any further processing to already-polished tunes. |
