villalobos dropped his remix at pikic electronique (mutek) and it raped the hell out of the dance floor. I like his version the best, and some of you will say omg 14 minutes, but this thing has so many in and out points + mixing potential that i am sitting here fondling myself.
out today.:) |

Wow, this is pretty hot. Nice and jazzy... love this kind of sound. I think the original might be the one that does it for me.
This would be fun to have running while playing with some subtle vocals/acapellas.
OMG 14 minutes, though. :) (Probably even longer for me since I'd likely play it a bit slower). |

| i won't play the whole 14 minutes...there are some perfectly placed breaks in the track to get a little loco with the layerage.:) |

| I added the Villalobos remix to the BP crate this morning. I have to wait until I get home to buy because it's cheaper, lol. |

| Wish it had an oomphier bassline but yeah, I dig it. I'd layer the out of it. |

an "oomphier" baseline would imo defeat the purpose of the track (both versions). It is a smooth soulful tune to play early on while you are trying to fill the floor (like i said it killed at mutek and he played it just as it was starting to fill up, no one opened for him). It did it's job wonderfully, but i know what you mean austin. It is not made to be a peak time stormer, but it is nice and "clean" enough to be able to turn it into one:)
all of a sudden all of the people just standing around drinking a beer and getting comfortable just started busting a move. |

Ricardo continues putting out next level dance music...
So deep, so subtle, so full of minutiae, but on a big system I bet it can still kick faces in... |
