Skills Dj Workshop, the record store, will be closing our doors on July 26TH, 2009.

After 10 long years of staying in business, we've decided to close the Skills storefront and focus solely on our events and music production.

We’d like to thank everyone for their continued support of our events, music, Dj's and your love and dedication to the bay area electronic music scene. We would not be here without you. MUCH LOVE from all of us at Skills and we'll see you at our next event.

With that said, we are having a 50% off sale on all merchandise beginning June 4th. We will also be selling off a wide variety of music production gear, DJ equipment and other misc electronics. For full details please stop by the shop or email Tim (at) SkillsDJ (dot) com.

You can also stay in touch by following "Skills" on Twitter.

Sorry to hear about it, I've shopped there often myself.

Guess that's the way it goes with labels going all digital these days.

digital is lite and fast, but I still love the sound of vinyl. It has a warmth feel to its sound.
Gotta visit the workshop one last time.
