the smaller banks were destroyed by the volatility of their own currency, not because of the joint banking act. in reality the smaller firms collapsed during the great depression because of the massive contraction of the money supply, and the fact that the bigger banks didn't feel the need to step in, due to the new regulations they expected the fed to.

money isn't controlled by the reserve banks. it is controlled by the treasury, and for once you've made a point: the federal reserve is a government agency! thank god we've gotten this far. |

I found a lot of shrooms growing in groups this time around rather than singles and duets...
It was weird because this time it felt like shrooms just appeared when I looked somewhere a second time.. the first time they didn't catch my eye like they were invisible.. then when I took a closer look they were there.... it was the same for nettle... didn't see it then boom I'm in the middle of a field of nettle.
I only took a couple from each group (one or two)
I think I have ID'd two of them already.
There are two or three varieties here that are not accounted for as I didn't take them, one was a polypore, another was that purple mush -room, and the other was a white witches butter type thing.
none the less... one of the specimens I snapped was smushed as I put it in my pocket and it didn't survive intact.
Still no sign of the morel I was looking for I'm pretty damn sure someone else took it now. |
may i ask where you are from? i live around the desert and rarely see mushrooms... |
