Uncle Ahmadinejad pulled it off and got re-elected. More suffering, more lies, More of everything that's been the way of life for the past 30 years or so..

Just watched the video on BBC news of the protesting. Nearly brought a tear to my eye when they started to chant "We want freedom!" in English. You could see the sadness and anger in their eyes :(

| I was watching live coverage of the election yesterday and they were reporting that the opposition were in the lead. I thought that even if they did win they would not be allowed into power. And in the back of my mind I couldnt help but think that something like this would happen (ie. falsifying the results of the election and making it seem like Ahmadinejad won). |

I had been anticipating this election for quite some time. I was hoping that this maniac would have been ousted in order to bring some stability to that area of the world.
My heart goes out to those living in Iran who have to live another 4 more years under the oppressive rule of this guy. I only know what I read in the news, but hopefully the opposition and its supporters have enough power to overturn Ahmadinejad's dodgy "win".
It really is a shame that this much needed opportunity for a more moderate Iran is slipping through the fingers of the Iranian people. |
