who cares about what's trendy and what's not? Just make whatever you like.
People who start trends don't follow since they make stuff thats original and it's new to begin with. Everyone else then jumps the band wagon.

Trance was derived out of acid house which was pioneered by some names like Dj Pierre. Why not derive something out of trance and maybe you'll be the first one to start a new genre?

If you play two banging tracks without breakdown in advance and then drop this track @ 140bpm it will be huge impact on the dancfloor! This video is at around 136bpm...

How exactly does a genre of music die?

Are you people saying trance will become the future classical music? lol
MrJiveBoJingles
Classical music isn't dead either. People are still writing and performing it all the time.

very true only classical music is made to sit and listen to when trance is geared to dance along with.

and so i'm guessing if no one is really dancing to trace then who wants to make good trance tunes?

i wouldn't say any genre dies it just gets put on the back burner for a while til it gets retro and then makes a come back look at all the 80's band. there back and playing gigs.
