Right, I'm looking for a good online store to buy the more down-beat Dubstep. Beatport don't yet split their dubstep section into sub-genres like they do with other genres like Techno etc and I don't have the time to trawl though a ton of wobbly bass heavy agressive dubstep tracks. Any better options? |
why dont you look through it and dig around instead of wanting everything given to you in a silver platter you son of a bitch. |

That's funny, the Speaker Humping EP is classified on Beatport as dubstep and I believe Subvert produces mainly dubstep tracks. |
So, if it says "" on the wall, you're free to it?
Anyway, that doesn't sound quite like dubstep. |

:stongue: Considering I used to work in various REAL record stores, have A&R for various labels back in the 90's, I think I have earned the right to ask like minded DJs and electronica aficionados to help me locate some music, considering the online stores I browse don't even bother to seperate the releases like I used to do with a real physical format. Besides, I have to hunt down other genres, this is simply for my pleasure. |

Oh I do, if I was going to play fad music I'd be the best dubstep DJ out there right now :D ;) :p :stongue:
I wish I had 24/7 to trawl through more than tech-house / techno, too much mediocre stuff of that out there these days as it is... |

Meh, I just balance it in. Rather than watch tv or something, just spend an hour looking for and buying music :p |

I'd love to watch tv sometime, I really would. I don't get the time to watch any MMA or pro-wrestling as it is :p
Thing is, I can't give up the time I devote to listening to 90s Eurodance and other crap I shouldn't admit. Okay, okay, I still look for 'good' new trance, pointless I know :sadgreen: |

Maybe genres just need time to evolve. Progressive trance and epic trance do not sound the same, but they are both considered trance. I would expect dubstep to have different sub-genres coming about due to its popularity. |

| The soooner Beatport start differentiating Dubstep like they do Techno, the better. I'm getting lazy in my old age :p |
