need recommendations. what are some of your top tracks (those of you that listen to it) that i might've looked over.

really digging some of the stuff i'm finding on beatport and want to explore it further.

some of the mellower stuff is ok. i like the songs that hit hard - almost have an electro grind to it.

I think Adam's (Ted Promo) your man. He's made a lot of Dubstep sets in the last couple of months. ;)

alright. gonna go scour the DJ promo section i guess.

Yeah, I would definitely recommend Adam's sets... although his tend to be the more chill, deeper dubstep...which I personally prefer.

For the hard hitting/electro stuff, I guess a good place to start would be stuff like Rusko, TRG, Caspa, Reso, Benga, Skream, and Boxcutter. As for deeper... artlists like 2562, Martyn, Scuba, Pinch, Appleblim, Zomby, Kode 9 and labels like Hot Flush, Tectonic, Hyperdub, Planet Mu...are all good choices.

I'm still not super educated on dubstep, but the above is definitely the kind of stuff that got me into it.

Also, the Rusko essential mix should be to your liking:

It's all been said already, go do it!

Also, chill deeper dubstep for the win, wonkstep no thanks.

High Contrast, Burial, Kode 9, Skream...

all worthy.

I definitely prefer the chill stuff, but wonkstep really goes off in the club, and is fun for about an hour or so at a time. :p

Yep, when 2562 came the wonkstep was good for about an hour or so then it just got irritating. :p
