I'm not "on welfare" OW is a completely different program. OW and ODSP are both community and social services, however ODSP is much different in that it is for people deemed long term disabled. Considering I only make $100 for the first $1000 I earn, getting a y minimum wage job isn't that appealing. if I only make $3.50 an hour. Do you wanna work for $3.50 an hour?
I worked my ass off as a baker and customer service person when I should have been in highschool, you think I don't know the value of work. I have volunteered for a number of jobs, but haven't qualified, I simply do not value my time working in industries I don't respect, it isn't good for the work environment. It is simply not tenable to support industries I don't support, not to repeat myself. I really don't need the money - but you better beleive I will put the money to the best use, and if this means buying some womans property so she can have some cash on hand - then that is what it means, and yah, I see it as a worthwhile investment not only of my money but of the public purse.
What the is that suppose to mean, I actively look for employment. And actively promote my own business, so I don't know what the you are talking about. You are painting an imaginary scene that doesn't even grace the reality of the situation.

Dude you are out of touch - first off, everything is free for how you spend your time. Don't for one second think you "earned" your crap, do you grow your own food, do you make your own clothes, you are leaching profits off people, "busting your ass off". 5 to 1 you damage the social institution and environment in busting your ass off.
Driving to work you pollute the air, taking a you polute the water supply, etc.. These free handouts are the way the law works, you think I choose to live in this society - it is this or nothing. I've hit the walls and frankly I'm doing good by not disturbing, which I could. I'm not living a criminal lifestyle which I could, I'm not hurtin no body which I could, and I'm not eating up resources in an institution which you need to assign professionals to babysit me.
Fact is these free hand outs are pittance to forcing me to live in a selfish society. How the hell do you think people hold land, the police and military enforce by strong arming. If it was a free world where I was at liberty to use land as I saw fit, then frankly I woulnd't need "the free handout" it isn't a free handout, it is giving me a portion of what I am socially eligible for because society has otherwise deprived me of all the land and resources, and likewise has put a price tag on everything. So this free handout is a bare minimum of keeping me functioning as opposed to open rebellion.
Dude frankly you are sucking money from the public. If it is the government or a private individual it makes no bloody difference in a private society. The government is an agent who has a monopoly on use of force.
Go yourself.
I qualified for the system, and frankly I'm not relying or abusing the system. I could get more money from the system if I wanted to.
why don't you make something of yourself and stop attacking people for their legal entitlements.

i don't think the 640 sq ft is the eyepopping number, but the full bathroom size. 4 ft X 4 ft? a full bathroom? is that possible? is the toilet and sink inside the bathtub ? my closet is bigger than that bathroom.

Nice cozy place for one person. Well except for the 4'x4' bathroom. But it doesn't look too bad for the price. Shame it was mislisted.

The UK house market is really ed , if you have a nice £20,000 deposit you might get a good deal on a house , Interest Rate is 0.5% it use to be 14% so make sure you get a fixed rate if possible around the 4-5% region if you go tracker and you get 100k mortgage and the interest rate jumps you are going to be really ed.
Unemployment is at its highest and the banking sector had been damaged really badly and lots of people have lots thousands in there savings accounts and share funds.
Not the best time to buy a house , esp if you don't have a job or no guaranteed income. |

whats even funnier is hes from canada and asking advice from people in the states. just to let you know, our banks are a little different then in the states. they wont just give anyone on welfare a mortgage lik ethey were doing for you guys which is why our housing market is still in good shape.
