| Amusingly, Beatport.com's Top Ten currently includes remixes of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and the Tetris theme. It has thus devolved to the level of searching for "techno remix" on Napster circa 1999. :gsmile: |

There has been alot of e music on BP as of late. I don't know what it is - good producers calling it quits, a flood of new inexperienced producers, or just an over all CRAPTACULAR! taste in music from the general public. Wolfgang's 5th symphony, while a decent track, isn't what I would ever consider top ten material - let alone # 1. and Electrixx - tetris is a just plain horrid track!
A great example of yet another track/producer that has made top ten when infact they should have hung themselves at the initial thought of the said track to be produced is... Checkmate - Hang Up (Midnight Express Party Mix).... Worst track track I've heard in a good minute and sure enough, was found at the #10 spot on the progressive house side of BP (since dropped to #12). I mean seriously what is happening to our beloved EDM?!?! what goes through these producers heads when saying, "yes, people are going to love that"?!? |
