BT seems to be revisiting his progressive trance past with this track, which may be just what a lot of fans are looking for.

Three full years since the release of his critically acclaimed experimental album This Binary Universe, BT makes his highly anticipated return to dancefloors everywhere June 9. On Tuesday, BT unveils his brand new single, “The Rose Of Jericho,” from his forthcoming full-length album due in fall. The composer, technologist and widely renowned pioneer of trance music will be rolling out three remixes of Jericho, exclusively on Beatport. Mixes include: BT’s Dues ex Machina Album Mix, Sultan and Ned Shepard Remix and Robbie Rivera New Juicy Music Mix.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve written music that I could feature in one of my Laptop Symphony sets. Not only is this track a floor-filling monster, it really features my current electronic music inspirations - minimal beats with big strong melodic and harmonic content. This track rips the A** off a dance floor. I’ve played it from Korea to Brazil, and it’s the biggest track I’ve had to play out for years.”

I forget who opened for BT last time he was at Ruby (that I recall...at leat the last one I was at...it was awhile ago).
Anyhow, I was having an internal hissy fit over his opening set....
...but then BT came on and just took over and started off crazy and the energy actually went up...wasn't expecing that....thought BT was great that night.
At that point, I couldn't complain about the opening set anymore because I think BT played better that night because of it.... :-p

april 11 2008 when james williams opened for him? (it was my SF birthday weekend)
i thought james was doing a good job. BT came on and started off with limp bizkit. the nookie song, which i thought was weird. That was a fun night.

I remember the last DJ method / BT show. I left just as BT was about to start :-)

Completely FREE show. I would suggest arriving a bit early because the response has been strong due to the fact its a free show!

YES free all night OR until Ruby hits capacity and at that point they will NOT allow anyone else in!

I live an hour and a half away so the earliest I can get there is 10:30 so should I even bother coming? I'd be really upset if I wasted all that gas for nothing
