Pleas save the flames, just school me with info. Back in 2002 or so I heard one of his NYC Underground party CDs. I think it was number 3. I bought it and it was one of the first edm cds that I owned. I got this picture of him being big in NY, but have NEVER heard about him on the board here. I was in the record store the other day and happened to come across several more nyc underground partys and a cd recorded at PACHA. My questions would be: was he ever relevant? Is he a marketing tool and nothing more? Where is he now?
Side note - he played in New Haven back in 06 I believe. I happened to go not knowing he was playing. It was a sat nite and there were maybe 20 people on the dance floor. |

ol louie devito.hes basically your mainstream dance dj.he got hot for a minute after his nyc underground releases became popular as trance and dance musoc was starting to take off for a few years there. he wouldnt be mentioned on these boards unless it was for flaming purposes.but if you liked him and he turned you onto electronic music then hey thats a good thing..he still dj's and will always be popular in some aspect in some areas im sure.you can find more info on him here:

my favorite memory of him has nothing to do with his mixes at all.he was on a bind date tv show and pulled up in a ferrari to pick up some chick.basically he talked about himself the whole night, she basically called him a tool and that was that.it was great! |

Pretty sure I have all of these on various "live from Exit/Sound Factory" cd's, from the cd guy in Seaside Heights, or the Route 18 flea market. Final Chapter was my favoritest lol |
