Tinnitus Treatments?

Yeh I know there is no cure to it. But in spite of my god damn ing tinnitus acting up and getting worse recently I figured there might be some of you suffering from it too and could share something you have tried, like some kind of some kind of medication or pills or ingredients, that help alleviate your tinnitus or at least keep it the ringing in the ears to a minimum.
Btw here's a link to an article on "one step closer" to a cure for tinnitus (found it posted by n3lly in the DJ Booth forum)

| They will tell you, that you have tinnitus, say that there is no treatment or cure, and you will get used to it, and then they take your money. |

| Try and increase your ambient noises to help mask the tinnitus. Turn on a fan or leave your pc on. It helps. |
