First day of summer... (pg. 4)

I jogged/intervaled about 8kms around Trout Lake on Sunday, working on the tan at the same time ;) Too lazy after to walk the 5 min from my place to the nearby pristine beach.
After work today, rollerbladed about the same distance on the Nipissing waterfront, then walked about half a km into its shallow waters, on its silky smooth sand, before hitting cooler waters. Bumped into a couple of girls I know to chat it up in the rays. Perfect.

I love the races....the Queen's Plate is definately an event that brings all sorts together to cheer on their favourite horse. The Queen's Plate has a longer history then The Kentuky Derby.
I love being right by the track and hearing the horses run by and the people screaming for their horse. Its the one day at Woodbine that is a must for me. Too bad Patrick Husbands had an off day...cost me enough money :mad: |

| It's funny how June was such a crappy month, weather wise, and then BAMM!!!, first day of Summer, it's a beautiful hot day, for that matter the whole week is gonna be hot and sunny. I live in an apartment with no central air, it's time to get an air conditioner, cuz 3 days into the summer and my wife and i are friggin' baking!!! I don't remember our place being so hot last year, definatelly getting the A/C. |

| I will never complain about the heat cause I love summertime, but I was honestly dying during my daily 5 km run today. The humidex really does slow me down. |
