Looking for the most realistic grand piano sound....

Looking for that deep, room filling piano sound. Here's a damn youtube video with terrible sound quality that still gives you an idea of what I am looking for. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pFVaXgGtgU

I've heard "The Grand" and wasn't impressed. I'm hoping somebody can point me to a cheap soft synth, but I have the feeling the answer probably lies in some expensive sampler :(

Maybe some suggestions to toy around with in a vst?

i use v-station, discovery pro, largo, sylenth1, and korg wavestation

The main difference I've found between what I've found, and what I to find, is dynamics. Everything just seems so stale in comparison and I've ran all the soft synth pianos I have tried through very well crafted classical MIDI and it still pales in comparison. Same goes for the "The Grand" - I've tried that out along with the Nexus piano's and they didn't impress me at all. They sounded better than the soft synths, but still hollow. I have of course tried beefing these things up with FX, but still no juice. Please, don't suggest Waves Mercury!

Is it me, or is there just not an adequate substitute for this arguably best instrument on the planet (I rank the human voice #1, grand piano #2)

+1 for Ivory (from what I've heard - I don't own it, nor have I ever used it, but it has a very good reputation). Others worth looking at:

- GPO Piano
- NI Akoustik Piano
- NI Kontakt 3 (comes with some very good pianos, or you can buy third-party samples)

They need to make a LIGHT version, something useful for common use, that doesnt require an arm and leg of money and space.
