Kinetic Field during Thievery Corporation... it was ~1 hour of Reggae. It cleared out huge sections of the Coliseum. What a joke.
Everyone around me was so confused. We were just enduring the music until atb came on. He opened with 'ecstasy' and the crowd went nuts. |

If you liked TC that's fine, but your whole group was definitely in the minority during their set. When they came on I was in the bleachers and you could just see the field clear out within 20 minutes. Giant empty pockets opened up very near the stage. The flow of people started going up the stairs (out of the Coliseum) instead of down the stairs (into the Coliseum). Later I went down to the ground level and I was able to get very close to the stage with minimal effort. When ATB come on, I had a great location.
Actually, in my experience it seemed like the only ones who didn't mind their music were those who were rolling hard. Myself, I only drank last night.
Definitely looking forward to tonight. Yojjiiiiiiiiiii!!!!
The production values are quite high and I'm quite impressed by the scale of EDC. |
