Can somebody explain something to me?

So how is it that the city will hire private contractors to clean up after Pride parades but has canceled all Canada Day events? People arent even permitted to take wedding pictures in a park. They cant even run the pride flag up a flagpole but they can clean up the parade?
Not that i want the pride events canceled but WTF??? Seriously whats more important than the birthday of our country?

Seriously though... Toronto has its priorities mixed up.. between this and the stupid streetcar decision its no wonder this city is going down!
Well at least they still had pride. But still! What message does that send to the rest of the population? |
