| before this world cup started all any korean wanted was to win ONE game. making it into 16 was a dream. there is no way that the world cup is fixed because we never expected to get this far. all of you can bitch all you want but you know that korea wants to win more than any other country and has. even though they arent the most technically skilled team they have a determination and heart that everyone can feel. without home field advantage i will be the first to tell you that korea wouldnt have gotten this far but the bottom line is that they have so stop crying. |

| Go Korea! how boring would this world cup be if was another bloddy brazil italy final or france germany. germany are the most boring team on the planet, they score once, then just camp out in their own half for the rest of the game, i thought after thye played us and lived to regret it (robbie keane is pure class!), but they've been did it again against the u.s! and they didnt even bother waiting to score before camping against paraguay, they got a lucky break right at the end, the sooner they're gone the better, come on korea! and as for the turks, dirty cynical team, very short tempers. true they want it, but they want it at any cost. i.e. cheating. brazil are poor defenseively, but they have the players to turn a match at any stage if they up the gears. |

blame it on the damn ref's, the supposed "fixing" of the world cup, home team advantage, or any other pathetic excuse you got

korea's made it this far..

alright well i admit they made bad calls...but for both teams

they made a mistake on the offside but they didnt call a lot of the fouls spain was committing..
the ref was a little slow and stingy with the yellow cards but thats just how it is!..
in the brazil vs. england game..imho i dont think ronaldinho deserved a red card..the ref took it out on impulse
its all just too subjective and opinionated..
doesnt really matter who analyzes the game..a professional critic or just the boy next door..
just kick back and watch the game..

I'm 100% with miss_e about this. Very well said.
But just to add one thing here, I'm sick and tired of all you bastards whinning about Germany being boring. WELL, half the team is injuried and its all just average players or so. YOU should admire them for going that far AND STFU about it! Where are all those teams with their ALL-STAR lineups?!?? WELL???? HOME!
Personnaly, even if Germany loses the next one or the one after 10-0, I won't care, I'll still wear my Deutchland Jersey and with pride!
I admire teams like Korea, Germany and Turkey for going that far while not having the resources. No one was seeing any of those teams past qualifications (yeah, even Germany!!!!).

Thier goal against Portugal was by a defender mistake.
They barely tied against the USA
The goal against Italy was again by the mistake of Panucci, and the golden goal was a mistake by Maldini.
They did not beat Spain today, the ing keeper got lucky because Juaqin kicked it badly.
I just wish Germany will score 2 goals against them and then bunker up so bad so that Korea wont even pass the half line.

The only reason Korea won those matches were by the other teams mistakes, except against poland.

thats some harsh words... just let us be proud that korea is the first azn country to make it into the semi finals. even if we do lose to germany, which the chances are that we might, we would be proud of our team even making it this far and putting up a good fight, they gave alot of heart so give them some credit. why be so bitter, its good to see the underdogs winning. e |

Yeah I went a little overboard I kmnow,
its just very annoying watching a team that up until now had 11 losses, 4 ties and 0 wins in the world cup history, leaving behind teams like Spain, Italy and Portugal.
I Wait 4 years for this event, and what to I get, Korea at the Semi-Finals
