LOL, I'm total earplug noob...

Don't earplugs get in the way of monitoring properly when you're DJing? I've been seeing pics of a lot of DJs wearing them when they are spinning. :p

yup, but the bad thing is that no one is making quality dark tribal now. :(

Zombie0915
I saw him this past july fourth, he came to glow washington dc,
I need to update my location because I live there now.

It was awesome, it was mostly percussive, really savage sounding stuff. I felt like a caveman dancing naked around a fire most of the time.

Highly recomended, I would much appreciate having some more recent set recordings and TL's from him and the other guy that was with him that night, tiefschwarz. I was too smashed to remember a single track.

VIVa Music has released some great stuff lately, the latest Leon EP, Osasuna/karaj EP, the Dragosh album... Brilliant. Its music that worth paying for imho, compared to most of the stuff out there.

The cheap, drugstore quality ones will make everything sound muffled and muddy, but what Clovis is talking about are custom molded earplugs that reduce the volume by reducing all the frequencies by the same amount, so it still sounds crisp and clean.
