Not really dude. The last two sets I heard from him were completely atrocious mixing-wise. One was his "Universal Religion 3" mixed comp, which I wrote a very detailed review about, LOL.

The other one was pretty much my own damn fault for being so stupid to attend an outdoor party with him. I really don't know what the hell was wrong with him, he really doesn't give a anymore. He was more worried about his hair in the wind and doing rotating Jesus Poses than achieving decent transitions. Add music to that and you have a recipe for disaster. I should've asked for my money back. :( |

I'll have to sorta disagree actually. I haven't really listened to the Universal Religions and haven't seen Armin play in a year or two, but his mixing has aaaalways been on point. At times safe and boring, and the tracks were very so I guess it could give the illusion that the mixing was bad, but I honestly have never really heard him do a terrible mix. The worst I've heard are quick mixes that sounded a bit awkward, but overall I'd call his mixing consistently servicable.
I still loathe him though. But I'll give credit where credit is due. |
