sick of vacuuming, so i wanna try this out.. does anyone here use it?

I haven't used one personally but I know someone that has. I'm not sure if it was this exact brand though. They said it was okay for small clean up, but obviously anything big you'd have to do yourself. If you have pets it may not be as useful b/c it'd be a lot of hair to clean up.

Try googling reviews for the specific product you're looking at.

I have the model (I don't remember the actual model number) that returns to it's base to recharge and also has a programmable scheduler. I use it on the main floor and it works really good. Actually I was quite surprised on how much dust this near sentient dirt sentinel picks up daily.

My mom rocks a Roomba- she loves it and calls it her "little buddy"

I have a roomba. Loved it. It was awesome at getting the most stubborn cat hair out of the carpet.

I then moved somewhere with all laminate flooring and don't use it at all - want to buy mine? :D Seriously I used it for about 6 months - and not even that regularly.

why don't you use it on laminate? most of our flooring is hardwood..

I use it and it's awesome!

Best to buy it when it goes on sale... I got mine at Home Hardware around Christmas time but Canadian Tire and Walmart also have them. If you get one of the lower end 400 series ones make sure you get one that has a 'Spot' button at least. The 500+ series clean better and come with a scheduler so you can automate when the thing runs. It won't leave your place spotless but it picks up more than enough to make it worth it.

you can use it on laminate and hardwood... but you may want to look at a Scooba for the non-carpet surfaces (because moping sucks).
