| What's sad about it is that many famous DJ's, whom you claim to love and respect, diss Trance. Apparently it's a cool thing to do nowadays when you get to the top. PvD never mentions the term "Trance"; he sticks to "Electronic Music." Timo Maas says "Stay away from Trance!" Sasha and Digweed flame Trance. |

| I know that trance is growing in NYC. The radio stations are starting to play more trance. There are so many club's that play trance. Also you see mad ppl drive with their window's open and blasting trance. I dunno about other places but here in NYC trance is not dying. But everwhere else, Keep Trance Alive. |

| I'm glad trance is still underground for the most part in the US. I hear it in commercials sometimes but that's about it. I find people here hate it or love it. |

I dont really care what others say about Trance or "techno". Since most people like to call the entire electronic genre as 'techno' it really doesnt matter to me what you call it. ;) It used to bother me that people dont get their genres right, but now, its kind of, whatever.
Most people here dont listen to electronic music. For the most part, people like to rap or rock/pop.
I guess people like to hear songs that are attention grabbers. Im tired of a lot of rap music because its so negative. Even though ive caught myself saying before that it doesnt influence people, rap music really made me feel negative and stuff. Imo good rap is like swollen members. ;) |

Swollen members is (or used to be) underground hiphop. Either way, battle axe re-pruh-zent. Funny though that two years ago they were touring western Canada and nobody knew who they were.
One thing though, you people really need to get off your high horse. You seem like a bunch of elitist twats. Listening to trance doesn't make you any better than everybody else. You're not more enlightened, you're not a musical wunderkind with amazing taste just because you listen to trance. In fact, you're almost just as much as a follower sheep as the pop / mainstream crowd. At least they don't take their music so overly seriously. |

| here is the way i look at it. I love trance and if ppl don't like it...their decision not to like it. I feel the most dissed genre is rock tho. My brother listens to crap like that. I like what i like and i don't care what others think. If ppl want to diss trance....oh well.....it's huge...anyways...i like it....that's all that matters. my advice....play yer damn music loud! |

| Yep here in Vancouver theres tons of people who don't know what trance is. They think it's all the same and they just call it techno. A lot of Canadians only know electronic music from what they see on muchmusic during electronic circus. (I think thats the name of the show thats on Friday nights, for some reason I can't remember now):D |
