Moving to Freiburg

hallo everybody
i am an american student from texas who is studying at the university in freiburg for 1 year.
i arrive in frankfurt august 31 and i don't leave europe until july 2010
i love progressive trance, tech-trance, trance, and many kinds of electronic dance music.
does anybody have any tips for me, or advice, or know anything about freiburg, deutschland? how far is this from ibiza? how far is this from amsterdam? are there many good clubs in freiburg?
mein deutsch ist schlect aber es wird nach zwei monate besser sein.

First of all, good choice...Freiburg is a nice city with lots of students.
The only problem is that there are no trance parties and the Netherlands (especially Amsterdam) are too far away. Regarding clubs...there are some, but none is really famous for electronic music lovers.
If you wanna catch a trance night the only possiblity would be a) a trip to the famous technoclub in Frankfurt with Talla2XLC b) a flight from Euro Airport Basel to Amsterdam c) a trip to Zurich (but there've been better trance parties years ago)

i came into the GERMAN forums asking GERMANS because BECAUSE THEY'RE FROM GERMANY and might be able to help me because I'M NOT FROM GERMANY.
some things you can't just google, like advice from a native GERMAN. but thanks for being an ass hole!

| aaahhhhh amsterdam is ok but not the best. You must going to eindhoven or rotterdam or Den Haag. There´re the best partys and the best guys and the best girls (i´m from Den Haag :D :D :D :D :D :D and i´m the best girl there hihihihihihihi) from the Netherlands. We have the best music ans the best dj´s in europe. |
