what an awesome movie.

anyone seen it? it's on comcast cable right now.

i used to not like colin and thought he was cheesey and seems like a scumbag in real life but lately i've been impressed with his acting. he was great in Pride & Glory and he is awesome in In Bruges. there's a little too much dialogue sometimes in In Bruges...sort of like Guy Richie style, but overall awesome plot and acting.

recommend any other good Colin Farrell movies you like him. i don't really know what he's been in at this point besides Miami Vice which was alright.

Yeah, that's a good film. Some good humor in it. I started a thread about it recently.

saw it around the time it came out, awesome and funny movie. starts out a little slow but the final scenes were what i remember - they did an amazing job building up tension to the ending and throwing in the absurd dark humour the whole time.

Slylee that avatar doesn't quite work when it's that small and it also trips me out when someone changes their avatar too.

I love how the media portrays Colin Farrel to the world as some big, tough bad-boy kind of character, when really he's from a very quiet, nice, upper middle class area of Dublin, the scumbag thing is such an act on his and the media's part, its ridiculous.

Oh and for good movies that Colin Farrell is in, his best performance by far is in the independent Irish movie "Intermission". Not sure how widely available it is outside Ireland, but it really is an outstanding film and an outstanding performance from Farell where he actually IS convincing as a tough guy.

The opening of that movie is unexpected. Funny though

By the way...

I really liked him as the Joker in the Dark Knight.
