There is only so much you can do for a person like this. They don't take your advice or listen to reason because they are SO in love and blinded to what is really going on, or they are being extremely manipulated by the person they are with so much that anything positive that you may actually get them to listen to will all be gone after they speak to their partner for a matter of seconds. There are the types that you can help, teach, and will learn from your mistakes...and then there are the types that have to live and learn on their own the hard way.
People who put up with these type of relationships and think they are acceptable usually have many more underlying issues, ie: they may have witnessed this behaviour before either with their parents or elsewhere.
As much as it hurts tough love is the way to go...and at least you already know for a fact she will put up with it due to everything she endures from her partner already. She will learn soon enough. |

I agree with the tough love part. She is so ing stubborn and blinded by that loser she loves it's painful to watch.
