According to wikipedia, they originated in LA then spread to Central America.

no they did originate in LA Bas. Their gang sign is actually because they were huge Ozzie fans, and they only started the gang, because the blacks would beat them up. A ton got deported to El Salvador , and they grew it there from that.

I'm like, "Hellno, OUT OF MIAMI." So we drove back to Orlando right then and there getting back around 7AM. Crazy night. |

lol I didn't mean it like that, sorry :p
Ok they started here, I could have sworn that documentary said they started in Mexico or Colombia or something as one gang and eventually made their way here as MS13. |
