| They were salvadorians who in the Civil War of El Salvador in the 80s went to L.A, started the gang there and recruited mass amounts of people from all over. Then some of them got deported back to several places and started their own cliques. I lived in El Salvador 18 years of my life and never saw one so they basically hang out in the projects and do their things there, killing themselves with other gangs, especially one called the 18. 13 and 18 are both streets in the ghetto. So yeah El Freak is right, they began the gang to fight off competing gangs, now they are one if not the largest gang...pretty low class mafia. Ross Kemp's documentary exaggerates it as bit as he goes to ing no man's land to speak with them. But you never see them in the good part of the city of San Salvador. |

| MS 13 is considered the most dangerous gang right now in the U.S. according to the F.B.I. I don't know any members but this kid who's a Latin King told me a little about them, bottom line they're not to be ed with. Even the crips, bloods and other big gangs know their rep. |
