I'll make the video downloadable
I have to rip the video stream in real time. Most of the time you can accellerate streams (not talking about progressive downloading...but actual rtmp streaming), but none of the software I am using is doing it. This site is setup very well making ripping hard...but I gots it.
I am gonna setup Michelle's laptop, as she's out of the house, to record the stream so it'll take an hour and then I'll upload it.

Got stuck at work so I missed Ben Brown's set. I got there at the end of PUSH set. When I saw that there would be a special guest DJ I just had to stay and see if it can be true and it was!!!! 16 Bit Lolitas blew it away off Taj great set full of energy.. Night was such a great night! I seriously did not want to leave! Another great night in the books and loved the new setup! :D
Edit: Ben Brown ended up finding one last CD and I was so lucky to get it! Thanks Ben!

Was 16 Bit Lolitas set recorded at all?

OK, here is the video available for download. I ripped the stream and then injected the info into the FLV so anything you use to play .FLV files should work OK. If it doesn't, nothign I can do about it. No "FLV Metadata" is pulled with the stream so it's artificially put in. Technical stuff...
Anyhow, here you go...

wow - thanks for the upload of the video. was thinking of doing that myself - just wanted to know if there was a way to get the video from someone who has it rather than capture the stream - but thanks for the time to do it!

wow i had a great night, it was an awesome bday night i had!
i am wondering if someone on this board could educate me about Mike's Live set.
for example i see him hitting his keyboard on there, did he actually re-wrote the whole tracks that night on the stage? errr... im such a newbie on this topic please someone explain...
I wasn't much of a fan of how the songs aren't transitioned to one another but this could be because I simply don't know what a LIVE set means...
I think because i don't understand the complexity of live set, i'm missing something here... thank u!
Ben Brown was awesome!!!

From what I saw on the video, he used the keyboard and whatever it was on top of it to bring different layers of the track in. He could also play main melodies on the keyboard if he wanted to.
Basically instead of all the layers of the track playing from an audio file, he is manually adding the different layers tot he track and he might bring parts in and out of it whenever he wants..also has more flexibility with any special effects he does since he can always justr do it to one layer of the track instead of the whole track itself.
Push Live can also be on a bigger scale. I've seen him do Push live with a couple other people...like a drummer. Look it up on youtube. Pretty crazy.

mike mentioned usually having a second person helping him out during a live set when he was setting up earlier in the day.

Whether it's tricky or not is whether it's stream vs. progressive download (PDs are EASY...like Youtube). Stream is more difficult but there's software out there.
But what can make that a challenge is how the player is setup with it's scripting and whether they are secure streams or not -- as in, whether randomly generated key tokens are required to start the stream...and the tokens expires after a few seconds. Most ripping software doesn't know how to work with the tokens...doesnt' understand them.....I have five or six different stream ripping software and the last one I tried is what finally worked with this one...
...but after it was done players couldn't read the length of the file and all that so you could scrub through it. This is common in FLV video since the time is a part of the "metadata" that encoders inject into it....but the rippers don't really carry over to well. So I had to take another piece of software (FLVMDI) and have it read the file and artificially inject metadata.
Metadata when it comes to FLVs is what players read to get every detail from the file from its resolution to frame rate to length.
Again, technical stuff.
Ripping it wasn't hard. Finding the right software that could read it was the challenge.
