ben brown's set is my idea of a great opening. everyone i talked to was really digging his sound as well. i liked it more than the half hour of m.i.k.e i heard. push live on the back stage was a nice touch that brought back memories from 1015 past though. we went and checked out supperclub halfway in and regrettably it was pretty dead there... probably 20-30 people inside at last call. ari was playing his warung sound. it was cool, but i just couldn't get into it with all the empty space and bright lights. i had a drink and went back to 1015. i get back in and taj is tearing it up. pretty night and day difference from the last stop. i was very happy to hear 16 bit lolitas play in the main room. he played the best of the 3 sets i've heard him out. his avalon set after sander k was very good too, but there was no vibe in the grimy crowd. saturday night though, the main room was a rare treat showcasing the many sounds of progressive. great bookings, great format... thanks again taj! :D

I couldn't agree more... Was great to hear 16bit in the main room. Was the best night this summer so far.

back home in denver!

It was great meeting all you SFTAs! Had a blast out there. Ben Brown's had a great opening set. I could have listened to that all night long!

Mike's set was good as well, was kinda wishing there was more than just the hour... Taj's set got the energy back up when he took the decks. And I only got to the first 1/2 hour of 16bl. Was too tired and didn't want to load up on redbull! haha.

Overall fun night! I'll be sure to head out to SF again :)
Ben Brown
Hey guys just wanted to say thanks for all the hospitality all weekend during my visit.. got to meet a lot of great people on my first trip out... had great fun at 1015 on saturday as well, thank you Taj for letting me join you all there.

Great vibe in your city, please keep it up! Hope to come back very soon... might book a flight for that first weekend of October and come party ;)
