Different purposes/countries.
My primary devices are a BlackBerry 8900 & Nokia N95-3. I also have several watch phones since 2007 and a Sony Ericsson Z750a (debranded to Z750i). I have the SE because it was the only affordable non-Windows Mobile phone I could find that had tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100 MHz; my N95-3 has just 850/1900 and the BlackBerry doesn't have 3G at all). I have the BlackBerry for typing & calls and N95-3 for video & GPS (BB does not let you download maps to memory card and use w/o mobile data).
As for the SIM cards, I have four US (2 used almost exclusively in Canada to save on roaming charges), three UK (again, different purposes), and the remainder are international SIMs, which have free incoming calls in a number of countries. |
Whoa... isn't that, you know, expensive? |

yea the lack of tactile feedback is a step backwards in mobile technology in my opinion. |
That's why the G1 is amazing :) |

I like T9 the way I like my women: small, smart, and I just realised the analogy makes no sense whatsoever :p
I like it anyway. |

Not really considering I got the BB subsidised from T-Mobile and the N95-3 when it was already 13 months old (hence a much cheaper price than when at début).
As for the SIMs, I wouldn't want to end up like the countless iPhone users that come back from trips with data roaming bills in the thousands. So, it makes sense to have multiple SIMs for when you travel. |

What I find annoying with qwerty is that no matter how awesome it is, I still have to look at the phone to text so it makes it near impossible to text while driving safely. With t9 I could memorize everything and literally not have to look at the phone while driving. |

That was the awesome part, I loved that. I could literally never look at the phone while i was driving and send perfectly readable/legible text messages. |
Exactly! That says it all rigth there.
My new cell is a smartphone (QWERTY), and of late I've really been missing my previous regular cellphone for texting purposes! :(
T9, you're the most! ;) |
