make sure you make a reservation (I think its brguest.com or something like that!) the place is always PACKED because its pretty popular!! Go to the one on 50th, the others lack the same massive decor and vibe ;)
Also, for the lady I would recommend the Ruby Foo drink...its a sake-based YUMMO cocktail!!! sooo good!
The only thing I would tell you to avoid is the dumplings and Pad Thai....for some reason those are the only things I didnt like....but if you are only going for sushi, you will be in heaven!!! :D |

take her to a low key restaurant in the les...some of those places are half empty sometimes and u can sit down and have a nice dinner over wine..more importantly, you'll be able to listen to her. it's important for the guy to listen all the crap these girls say on a first date bc they drop down all the essentials in the first 45 mins.
i have add like crazy so i don't work well on places like sushi samba for a first date bc ill be focused on everything except whatever the hell shes saying about her family.
there's one place called 18 seats or something like that, very small and chic. it feels like it's only the 2 of u. i wouldn't bring her to love afterwards bc again, on the first date u wanna communicate, so have the first date a couple of days before u go to love.

hehe good, that one was wack. ;) Huge difference between the two places.
DJ Lord: haha I would love if someone took me to a "scene" (sushi samba, TAO, ruby foo's, spice market, etc....) something to talk about when you first sit down. ;) Im a big fan of visuals/decor/vibe. No doubt, little places are awesome, but its always fun to spice things up a bit with something a little more over-the-top. ;)

This is restaurant week and some places, including Sushi Samba participate. The menus are usually lighter than the regular but you get a nice taste. Plus, who wants to eat so much in the summer? We just got home from Bar Artisanal, same as Artisanal Bistro. Everything was so good and because it was restaurant week, we paid $35 pp for aps, entree, and dessert. |

but molly i wassent always this bad...i remember in pre-k i had a girlfriend and i was nice, but nice guys finish last and she ditched me for the popular bad boy kid
but then i sat down with the girl and explained to her
what do you see in this kid? he eats like a slob,he wets his bed,he thinks theirs a monster in his closet...hes nutin but a mama's boy :) |
