Let me know when you assemble your crew. I know some pretty awesome places to go in the mountains, for whatever level of "roughing it" you're looking for. Are you looking for actual camping, like in tents? Or like a cabin or 2 to rent with close access to hiking, waterfalls, etc? |

nah tents n stuff. my dad has tons of awesome camp gear including a 3 person eddie bauer tent..gonna stop in orlando and pick the up and head up to NC. but i'd like to be on an actual camp ground with facilities..want hikes and waterfalls n stuff too lol |

Yeah there are plenty of them around that area... running water/showers/bathrooms. There are a lot of great places off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. http://www.blueridgeparkway.org/Calendar_NC.htm
